Home Care

Helping people to live in their homes for longer

From those who need a bit of extra help as they get a little older and their mobility starts to fail them, to those with more complex conditions looking to living well at home for longer.

Helping you live independently for longer and staying in your own home is the most preferred choice in the UK for people when considering care.

Homecare can take on different and varied support. Tailored to your individual needs, it really can make a big difference.

Many and varied, our homecare services include:

Rise and Shine Support

From getting you up and about in the morning, help with rising, washing, showering or bathing, personal hygiene, getting dressed to having breakfast and getting you ready to take on the day!

Daily Living Assistance

Help with cooking, cleaning and shopping, managing medication and much, much more.

Respite Help

We can also provide a bit of respite to perhaps friends and family who provide care for their loved ones, allowing them the benefits of time off and some time to themselves, to help them with continuing to care for you at home, or to help with the more challenging jobs like manual handling or personal care.

Companionship Service

Our care workers can accompany you to medical appointments, shopping, social events or outings or even just be on hand to have a game of cards or to play quizzes with and enjoy a cup of tea and baking a cake at home!

Good Night / Sleep Tight Calls

When it comes to winding down for the night, whether it be a late supper, a hot milk and cookies, putting on your slippers and night gowns, a bedtime story, or being tucked up in bed, we can provide a personalised support plan just right for you or your loved ones.

Homecare could be perfect for you if:

  • You just need a little extra help as you’re going older
  • You have Dementia / Alzheimer’s / Parkinson‘s Disease or similar
  • You have Acquired Brain Injury or need assistance with any Neurological Condition
  • You have any other complex health requirements but still wish to maintain your independence and live well in your own home

I am writing to put on record our family’s sincere thanks for the wonderful care given to M. It is without doubt that M being able to be at home with him family, which is what we all wanted and was so important to him, was in part down to the exceptional care given by two very special carers at YCAS. M received personal care with total respect and dignity. Their kindness and understanding was beyond measure and this extended to myself and our family also. They shared with us the ups and downs of M’s illness with such genuine compassion while giving him the best care always.

We feel blessed that these two very special carers came into our lives and cannot thank them enough. M love them as do I and thank God for them. Your Care and Support has very genuine caring people on your team.
